this is, i would say, a good representation of what our days have consisted of lately.
we spend lots of time in the park and even more time playing keep-away.
the other mamas and i have been having such a good time watching these little babies (mostly boys) grow and develop and hone the personalities they were surely born with. though it's unfair to start labeling such little people, it's sure been tempting, what with the athlete, the quiet one and the mama's boy all exhibiting their dominant traits. obviously, ian and i see alden as the well-rounded little bun (capable of anything!) that he is, in a group setting and among friends, he tends to be a little more reserved. alden loves watching older kids work their magic on the world and yesterday he had an excellent time cheering on his buddy H (ten days younger), whose sense of adventure knows no bounds. alden sat on the blanket, waving his arms and calling out to him. egging him on? perhaps.
hah, isn't it crazy how much time you can spend at the park, day after day, now that the weather is lovely?
ReplyDeletewe dissect baby personalities at the playground, too. leon is definitely the more adventurous, active one. i don't think he's ever sat or stood in one place for more than 20 seconds unless he's sick. and so it goes.
sticky little fingers trying to touch and grab everything. love it!
