happy mothers' day, mamas!
there are a few more new videos on vimeo right now, including one that makes it seem as though we drill alden at storytime. we do not! that video was created with the intention of illustrating just how much als enjoys tomie depaola's work (he stares and stares at it, while most other books are just chew toys) but it turned into a brag-worthy episode of Where's the Cat? i really don't brag about alden much, at least not as much as maybe some of his peers' mamas brag. sometimes i worry that it's abnormal or that maybe there just isn't anything remarkable enough to brag about. then i remember that alden is just the best baby in the whole world, ever and that i'm so secure in this knowledge, i just don't need to brag. ha!
