we're back from cape cod! we had such a wonderful trip, visiting grammie soles with nona and tj and uncle brendan. alden got to meet his great aunts kathy and kate and his second cousins leah and anna. he was overjoyed by the extra attention and seems a little disappointed to be home, where his audience is much smaller. als particularly enjoyed grammie's buoyant laughter and mimicked her every time she giggled at something cute (or naughty) that he did. he was in such great spirits for our week away, he seemed to bust out with at least three new words a day! now that we're back, he's grunting and pointing again. maybe i should start pretending i don't understand him. hmmm...

we have lots of photos and tj took some great videos, but we're still editing them. we'll have them up soon! in the mean time, here's our little ham, lulling himself to sleep in the park with a borrowed kazoo.
