we are back from our epic journey! there will be more photos--i took a roll of film!--but most of those are of farm equipment (specifically a $300,000 combine with to-the-inch accurate gps) so hopefully we'll be forwarded some shots of our visit. we were too busy having fun to take out the camera, hence the many boring train ride images.
i've been writing this post since wednesday, trying to include every detail of our trip. so silly. suffice it to say that we had a great time, alden was so excited to meet all of his papa's side of the family and we're a little blue to be back in bushwick. now it's nearly the weekend and if we can recover from this little cold we've picked up, maybe we can take papa out for a birthday cupcake or two.
