no, this was not a halloween costume...

november has been good to us so far!

of course, now it's getting cold and rainy, but we've had a few good park sits and some lovely walks. alden is learning (hooray!) to entertain himself for brief periods of time and just this week he's discovered how to properly suck his thumb (the left one being preferred) AND how to grab his feet.

oh yes, little bun will be four months old on sunday. crazy! i was packing up some of his too-small things for a friend who's having a baby boy in february and my eyes were getting a little misty! our tiny, worried alien baby is looking and acting more like a *kid* every day.

naturally, as soon as i typed that, he started crying to be picked up and now we're bouncing him to sleep in the moby wrap, which is something i really hope he grows out of before he's officially a Kid...
