it's time for some poorly lit and kind of boring videos of alden!
the first two are from last week and/or the week before. the last one is from today.
as you can hear, from my irritating and constant narration (i would prefer to have videos of *just* alden...will work on keeping quiet) i made the sweater this morning. it's from an old sweater of mine that i loved loved loved, but either it has shrunken substantially, or i was only a few years ago no bigger than a petite 11 year old. anyway, it was never going to fit me again. so here it is on my little boy! yes, it's a tad girly, but i like to think that it's a tad girly in a paul smith sort of way. i think on a going out day (he has a juicy cough at the moment, yuck) we will pair it with his black and white gingham Hooray by Cynthia Rowley shirt and his Oilily thumbprint detectives overalls. that might dude it up a bit. we shall see.
oh my, alden is quite the talkative boy! i love that baby startle, it's so endearing, and he has deliciously plump arms.
ReplyDeletei think leon has the same striped one-piece. carters? i need to stock up on more for the next size up. i used to love footies, but now that he 'walks,' we're better off with socks with treads.
i should upload videos to youtube first, it takes forever (hours) on blogger.
he is a talker! we think he's going to take after me. poor thing. destined to get in lots of trouble in school for chattiness.
ReplyDeleteyes! the dinosaur jammies. sometimes i wish carters would do away with the characters and stick to stripes. it's nice and cheap, but i'm not so into the words and guys on everything.
also, blogger is the worst for photos and videos! maybe i just don't know how to do it properly, but whenever i upload anything to blogger it takes forever and becomes super fuzzy.

ReplyDeletevimeo! try it, the image quality is so much better. you can embed the video super fast. the only drawback is that it can take a while to upload on the vimeo site (30 minutes this time) unless you pay for an account. but this was so much faster than uploading directly onto blogger.
carters definitely should do more stripes. i can't stand the baseball mitts and trucks.
